Is the Keynou Drive Chrome extension free?
Yes. The extension is free to install and works with every Keynou Drive plan, including the free tier (2 active links) and paid plans: Starter ($10), Growth ($25), and Scale ($99). All plans include custom domains and analytics.
Does the extension work with my custom domains?
Yes. Short links are created on your primary verified custom domain automatically, and the copy buttons let you copy any link on any verified domain in your account.
How does sign-in work? Do I type my password into the extension?
Never. The extension opens the regular drive.keynou.com login page in a tab - including Google sign-in and two-factor authentication - and simply reuses the website session. It has no login form of its own.
What permissions does the extension need and why?
Only the minimum: access to the active tab's URL when you click the icon (to pre-fill the form), context menus for right-click shortening, notifications to confirm copies, and access to keynou.com to call the Keynou Drive API with your session. It never reads pages in the background and contains no remote code.
Can I track clicks on links I create from the extension?
Yes. Links created in the extension are identical to links created in the dashboard: branded splash pages, real-time click analytics by country, device, and referrer, and full management from your dashboard.
