1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Keynou Drive, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

2. Link Creator Obligations and Tracking Disclosure

Important: Tracking Notice Requirement

When you create short links using Keynou Drive, you must understand and accept that:

  • We automatically track visitor data including IP addresses, device type, browser information, operating system, and geographic location
  • We use IP2Location LITE database for IP geolocation
  • This tracking occurs before the visitor is redirected to the destination URL

Your Responsibility:

As a link creator, you are legally responsible for informing users who click your short links that clicking the link will trigger tracking of their location (country, city, region), device information, browser type, and IP address. This is required for compliance with privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable regulations.

You must disclose this tracking to your audience through:

  • Your own privacy policy
  • Explicit notices when sharing links
  • Consent mechanisms where required by law

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Keynou Drive to:

  • Create links to illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or malicious software
  • Phish for credentials or personal information
  • Spam or engage in unsolicited messaging
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
  • Create links without proper tracking disclosures to end users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. User Content, Branding, and Intellectual Property

"User Content" means any materials you upload, submit, or otherwise provide to Keynou Drive, including logos, brand names, images, icons, color schemes, splash-screen designs, text, and any other branding assets used to customize your links and landing pages.

You own your content - we don't claim it.

You retain all right, title, and interest in and to your User Content. Keynou Drive does not claim ownership of, and acquires no ownership rights in, any logos, branding, colors, images, or other materials you upload. We do not create, own, endorse, or represent that we have any rights in your User Content.

License to operate the service:

So that we can actually display your branding (for example, showing your logo and colors on short-link splash screens and landing pages), you grant Keynou Drive a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This license exists only to run the service and ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, except for copies retained in routine backups or as required by law.

Your representations and responsibilities:

You represent and warrant that you own, or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to use and upload, the User Content you provide, and that your User Content does notinfringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party's intellectual property rights (including copyright and trademark), rights of publicity or privacy, or any applicable law. You are solely responsible for your User Content. Keynou Drive does not pre-screen, monitor, or verify the ownership or lawfulness of uploaded materials and is not responsible or liable for any User Content.

Indemnification for uploaded materials:

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Keynou Drive and its owners, operators, officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, including any claim that your User Content infringes or misappropriates a third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights.

Takedown and removal:

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without notice, to remove or disable access to any User Content that we believe infringes the rights of others or violates these terms, and to respond to intellectual-property takedown notices. If you believe content on Keynou Drive infringes your rights, contact us at support@keynou.com with details of the material and your claim.

5. Account and Authentication

If you choose Google login, you authorize us to access basic account information (name, email, profile identifier) provided by Google for authentication purposes. We do not access your Google password or other sensitive data.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

6. Payments and Billing

Payments are handled by our payment processors (Stripe/PayPal). You agree that payment terms, refunds, and chargebacks are governed by the processor's policies and our billing terms. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

7. Analytics and Data Collection

Keynou Drive collects analytics data to provide insights to link creators. This includes but is not limited to: click counts, geographic location (derived from IP addresses), device types, operating systems, and browser information. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

Keynou Drive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. This includes liability for any damages arising from links you create or content you redirect to.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service.
